WVTL's Bob Cudmore teaching at St. Rose

Bob Cudmore is now a Visiting Instructor of Communications at the College of St. Rose in Albany, teaching four sections of Introduction to Mass Media during the Fall semester. Cudmore has taught various Public Communications Department courses at St. Rose since 1988.

Cudmore hosts the morning radio show (6-9 a.m.) on AM 1570 WVTL in Amsterdam, www.1570wvtl.com. He writes Focus on History every Saturday in the Daily Gazette.

He co-produced and hosted WMHT television documentaries on the history of Amsterdam and the “good old days” in downtown Albany, Schenectady and Troy. He is author of the book, “You Can’t Go Wrong—Stories from Nero, New York.”

He worked in public relations for the State University of New York System Administration from 1993 to 2001. From 1980 to 1993, he hosted WGY radio’s evening talk show. He has an M.A. and a B.A. in English from Boston University.

An Amsterdam native, Cudmore lives in Glenville.
